I found this video on You Tube from the Threadbanger site. According to the site ThreadBanger is a multi-media network for people who want to share their passion for DIY, fashion and crafting with each other. It was interesting to note that the original description in the video referred to a Barret. Actually there is a form of cap with that name, also a flat cap worn in Italy and France. It is compared with the cap worn by Roman Catholic clergy called the Birreta. That particular cap has ridges however. Threadbanger has changed the description to beret a very simple hat, compared with the Birreta or Barret. Who really cares though it’s a great way to make a simple hat and it looks great. Oh I wish I had studio space so I could try it myself. Let Threadbanger know how you got on and comment here as well.
Can you answer their question about the care of a cap like this.
I found the demonstration of the wet felting process very interesting. You can find out more about how to do projects using the technique on Terri Pike’s site Feltinglessons.com. You will find a lot of how to videos on that site. Enjoy -- very interesting. The site was referenced by Threadbanger.
